Tourist trails

An enchanted area, with myths and legends around every corner, just waiting to be discovered...

A drive through enchanting scenery, dominated by the Brocéliande Forest where the beauty of nature mingles with the mysterious atmosphere. All the places and stones have a story to tell: the Valley of no return (le Val sans retour), Merlin's Tomb (le Tombeau de Merlin), the refuge of Viviane the Fairy (l'Hostié)... not forgetting the Château de Comper and its Centre of Arthurian Legend (Centre de l'Imaginaire Arthurien).
This tour of Brocéliande also has some architectural jewels, including amazing churches at Maxent and St-Péran and beautiful Paimpont Abbey in its magnificent setting beside a lake. Visit the historic foundry ' Les Forges de Paimpont' which tell the remarkable story of the local iron industry during the 19th century.
Let your imagination be your guide !
