This weekend by the sea features the impressive spectacle of one of the greatest spring tides in Europe in the Bay of Mont Saint Michel. Watch the tide race across the sands at the speed of a galloping horse and take a guided tour on a tourist train around one of the largest mussel beds in France ! Also on the programme are visits to Mont Saint Michel Abbey and the Maison du Terroir et de la Gastronomie (local food discovery centre), not forgetting a seafood platter with a glass of Champagne to round off your seaside break with a flourish.
